Gangotri Tour Package
Gangotri, one of the important Hindu shrines in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, is dedicated to the Goddess Ganga. Due of the heavy snowfall from November to March, the temple is still closed. However, from the Gangotri Temple, the statues are moved to Mukhba and Kharsail in the Uttarkashi district. For the remainder of the year, they are moved back to their original location beginning in April. The Uttarakhand government has taken the effort to allow year-round god worship.

From May to November (Akshya Tritiya to Diwali), Gangotri is open every year for six months. The best months to visit Gangotri are May through June and September through October because the weather is still good during these times. The temperature at Gangotri never changes. The monsoon season, which runs from July to August, is the best time to stay away from Gangotri because the region is still prone to landslides.
